What is the Ferguson Forest Centre, and where is it?

The Ferguson Forest Centre adjoins over 300 hectares of forested Crown land, with many kilometres of well-maintained, multi-purpose trails. The main trail is wheelchair accessible. The forest is home to an abundant variety of wildlife, including rabbits, deer, porcupines, foxes, squirrels, skunks, snakes, frogs, many species of birds, and much more!

Located near downtown Kemptville in the Municipality of North Grenville, the FFC is bordered by County Road 43 to the south, the South Branch of the Rideau River (also known as Kemptville Creek) to the east, the Rideau River to the north and County Road 44 to the west.

Help your community keep this precious natural resource by becoming a member of the FFFC.

If you have knowledge to share about ecology or outdoor activities, the Friends would love to hear from you!
